1. Service Description and Acceptance

These terms of service govern your use of our link shortening service ("Service"). By using the Service, you accept these terms. If you do not accept the terms, please do not use the service.

Our service allows you to convert long URLs into short, shareable links, create QR codes, and track link performance.

2. Acceptable Use Policy

2.1. Prohibited Content

You MAY NOT use our service to shorten the following content:

  • Malware: Links containing viruses, trojans, ransomware, spyware, or malicious software
  • Phishing: Identity theft, fraud, or links designed to mislead users
  • Spam: Links containing unsolicited bulk email, messages, or comments
  • Illegal Content: Sale of illegal products/services, copyright infringement, pirated content
  • Hate Speech: Racism, discrimination, incitement to violence
  • Adult Content: Pornography or sexually explicit materials (18+ content)
  • Violence: Extreme violence, terrorist propaganda, or harmful content
  • Fraud: Ponzi schemes, pyramid sales, fake products/services
  • Child Abuse: Any harmful content directed at children
  • Personal Data Violation: Unauthorized sharing of personal information, doxing

2.2. Prohibited Behaviors

  • Abusing the service with automated tools (bots, scrapers)
  • Overloading systems or conducting DDoS attacks
  • Gaining unauthorized access to others' accounts
  • Attempting to bypass service security measures
  • Creating fake accounts or impersonation
  • Abusing link redirects (cloaking, misleading)

Warning: Links that violate these rules will be immediately deleted and your account may be suspended or permanently closed.

3. Account Terms

3.1. Account Creation

  • You must be at least 13 years old to create an account
  • You must provide accurate and current information
  • You are responsible for account security
  • You must not share your password with anyone
  • You are responsible for all activities on your account

3.2. Account Suspension and Closure

We may suspend or permanently close your account in the following situations:

  • Violation of terms of service
  • Receiving abuse complaints
  • Payment issues (for paid plans)
  • Long-term inactivity (12+ months)
  • Legal request or court order

4. Pricing and Billing

4.1. Payment Terms

  • Paid plans are billed monthly or yearly
  • Payments are processed securely through Stripe
  • Yearly plans include a 17% discount
  • Auto-renewal is enabled by default
  • Prices exclude applicable taxes

4.2. Cancellation and Refund Policy

  • You can cancel your subscription at any time
  • Service continues until the end of the current period after cancellation
  • Full refund guarantee within the first 7 days (unconditional)
  • No refunds after 7 days (no pro-rata calculation)
  • No refunds in case of abuse

4.3. Price Changes

We reserve the right to change our prices. For existing subscribers, price changes take effect at the next renewal period. You will be notified at least 30 days before changes.

5. Intellectual Property Rights

All intellectual property rights including the service, design, logo, brand, code, and content belong to us. By using the service, you agree to respect these rights.

  • You may not copy, modify, or reverse engineer the service
  • You may not use our brand without permission
  • Short links you create belong to you
  • You may use short links for commercial purposes

6. Disclaimer of Liability

The service is provided "as is." We do not accept liability for the following:

  • Service interruptions or errors
  • Data loss (we recommend regular backups)
  • Content of third-party links
  • Content created by users
  • Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages

Maximum Liability: Our liability is limited to the total amount you paid in the last 12 months.

7. Service Termination

We have the right to terminate the service in the following situations:

  • Repeated violations of terms of service
  • Non-payment (paid plans)
  • Legal requirements
  • Service shutdown (with 30 days notice)

When your account is closed, all your links and data will be deleted within 30 days. You can export your data during this period.

8. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms of service from time to time. You will be notified of significant changes via email. If you continue to use the service after changes are published, you are deemed to have accepted the new terms.

9. Governing Law

These terms are subject to the laws of the United States. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of Delaware.
